Prof. Dr. Karolin Frankenberger

Karolin Frankenberger is Professor of Strategy and Innovation at the University of St.Gallen, Switzerland, where she is also Director of the Institute of Management and Strategy and Academic Director of the Executive MBA Programs. She is President of the Faculty of Medicine (Med-HSG) and a member of several committees at the University of St. Gallen. Her research, which focuses on (digital) business transformation, ecosystems, business model innovation and circular economy, has received several awards and regularly appears in top-tier academic and practitioner journals such as the Harvard Business Review or the Academy of Management Journal. Her co-authors "TheDigital Transformer's Dilemma" and "The Business Model Navigator" have become international bestsellers and are considered standard references in their respective fields. Prior to her academic career, Karolin worked for McKinsey & Company for seven years.
