The study-location in Cologne is situated at STARTPLATZ in the central area of MediaPark. STARTPLATZ is an incubator and an attractive meeting point for the startup community in the Cologne area. The location perfectly fits with HHL´s entrepreneurial spirit. Benefit from the bright seminar rooms with a view over the MediaPark during your weekend courses and enjoy a cup of coffee during the breaks or play table football with your fellow students. For group work or course preparations, you can use the comfortable seating facilities in the STARTPLATZ. Catering at the weekend is provided by an on-site catering service.

Cologne – a vibrant combination of history and future
Looking back on more than 2000 years of history, Cologne stands out due to its cultural and architectural heritage. Several sacred buildings with the Cologne Cathedral (“Kölner Dom”) as the symbol of the city as well as the market place, the “Stapelhaus” and many more tell the story of this vibrant and open-minded metropolis. Many media and branch related companies settled down which is why Cologne is considered a media city (e.g. RTL Group). But the region is also known for its chemical, pharma (Bayer) and automobile industry (FORD), as well as for machine construction. Within the past few years, Cologne developed to a promising high-potential location for biotechnology and life sciences.
