The HHL Venture Capital Club is an organisation founded by the students body of the HHL Graduate School of Management. Together, we follow the mission to provide a platform for a mutual exchange in the fields of entrepreneurship and venture capital.

We are happy to contribute our know-how in regards to pitch decks and venture-financing-related topics as independent advisor to aspiring entrepreneurs.

Overview of the VC Club Leipzig

Purpose

We aim to educate, connect and inspire the next generation of venture capitalists.
We provide a platform for students to discover the world of startup funding, learn about venture capital strategies, and build a network of like-minded peers and industry professionals.

Vision

We envision a future where our club’s activities contribute to the development of forward-thinking investors and visionary entrepreneurs within the global business landscape, solidifying our business school’s prominence in entrepreneurial excellence.

Mission

We aim to bridge the gap between classroom learning and real-world investment opportunities, ensuring that students graduate with a deep understanding of venture capital and its pivotal role in shaping the entrepreneurial landscape.

HHL is a breeding ground for entrepreneurs, but we also have many business angels and professional investors among our alumni. I see it as a great opportunity for students to learn more about the investor’s perspective – to prepare fpr own funding process or to evaluate alternative careers.

VCC Investment Cup | 2024

What?

Our yearly event, the VCC Investment Cup is a 2-day happening on our HHL campus in Leipzig, where we invite students from Europe’s top business schools to experience a Venture Capital Funds full Lifecyle.

How?

Registered teams will compete against each other in a challenging real-life case simulation with the support of experienced industry experts.
